El Institut für Islamwissenschaft, perteneciente a la Freie Universität Berlín ha lanzado dos ofertas de trabajo: una de research assistant / teaching assistant (Postdoc) y otra de research assistant / teaching assistant (Praedoc).

Job description:
- Contributing to administration and teaching (2 courses/term) in the Institute of Islamic Studies
Requirements:
- Excellent PhD in Islamic Studies with a historical topic or in history with a Middle Eastern topic
Desirable:
- Excellent knowledge of pre-modern Arabic, ideally of a second Middle Eastern language
- Teaching experience
- Postdoc project on premodern Middle Eastern history and/or Middle Eastern manuscript cultures
- Knowledge of History approaches and methods
- Working knowledge of German/willingness to improve German
